Pointing

This is the replacement of mortar between bricks. Over the years the mortar is eroded and eventually the brickwork becomes loose and water will enter through the cracks.

All care is taken to match the existing mortar.

This picture shows a brickwall with a before and after shot. The top part of the wall shows the completed Dapcor section, leaving brickwork in a near new state. The bottom section showing holes in the mortar is a typical brickwall in need of repair.
