This project revitalised and enhanced the pool, ensuring it meets modern safety standards and aesthetic requirements from the clients.
The Project.
Dapcor successfully completed a comprehensive refurbishment project at the pool in Kirribilli. This included various essential tasks such as preliminary assessments, concrete repairs, and strengthening to the concrete apron, ensuring the structural integrity of the pool. Additionally, the installation of a new pool stair improved accessibility and safety measures. Waterproofing measures were implemented to enhance longevity and durability. Upgrades were made to the pool lighting system to enhance aesthetics and functionality. Existing PVC piping underwent necessary repairs, and a new pool fence was installed to enhance safety standards and comply with regulations.
History of the project
The swimming pool at 25 Holbrook Ave, Kirribilli NSW 2061 has a rich history as both a recreational retreat and a protective seawall against tidal action. Over time, it has weathered the coastal elements, exhibiting signs of minor wear such as corrosion staining and cracked tiles. However, diligent maintenance has ensured its continued integrity, with recent assessments identifying areas for reinforced concrete repairs and tile replacements.

This strata building in Freshwater, Sydney, needed remedial work to correct for more than two decades of band-aid repairs.Situated at the northern end of Freshwater Beach, this building’s facade did not match its stunning location. Minor repairs over time had taken their toll.The project’s scope aimed to correct the imperfections: all 28 units needed balustrade upgrades, waterproofing to balconies, paving on pedestals, replacement of windows and doors and cavity flashing and extensive spalling concrete repairs. The whole building required rendering and painting.
